A weak trough lies east of Solomon Islands.

Forecast for the Western Region (Western, Choiseul and Isabel provinces)
Variable winds at 05 to 10 knots with smooth seas. Isolated showers. Further outlook for Wednesday: Northeast to Southeast winds at 05 to 10 knots.

Forecast for the Central Region (Malaita, Guadalcanal and Central provinces)
Northeast to East winds at 05 to 10 knots with smooth seas. Isolated showers. Further outlook for Wednesday: East to Southeast winds at 05 to 10 knots.

Forecast for the Eastern Region (Makira, Temotu and Rennell/Bellona provinces)
Northeast to Northwest winds at 10 to 15 knots with slight seas and low easterly swells. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms over waters of Temotu. Isolated showers elsewhere. Further outlook for Wednesday: Southeast to South winds at 05 to 15 knots.

Forecast for Honiara port & surrounding areas
Northeast to Northwest winds at 05 to 10 knots with smooth seas. Fine apart from isolated showers. Further outlook for Wednesday: East to Northeast winds at 05 to 10 knots.
