Marine Warnings: Fresh to Strong Easterly winds (15 to 25 knots) and moderate swells (2.0-2.5 m) is enforced for most Solomon Islands waters.

General Situation:  A trough lies northeast of Solomon Islands whist the general easterly trade wind flow persists over the Islands.

Western Region (Western, Choiseul and Isabel Province)

East to Southeast winds at 15 to 25 knots with moderate to rough seas. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms with rain areas. 

 

Further outlook for Friday: East to Southeast winds at 15 to 25 knots. 
Central Region (Malaita, Guadalcanal and Central Islands Provinces)

East to Southeast winds at 15 to 25 knots with moderate to rough seas. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms with rain areas. 

Further outlook for Friday: East to Southeast winds at 15 to 25 knots.

Eastern Region (Makira, Temotu and Rennell/Bellona Provinces

East to Southeast winds at 20 to 25 knots with rough seas and moderate southerly swells. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.

 Further outlook for Friday: East to Southeast winds at 20 to 25 knots.
Honiara Port & Surrounding Areas.

East to Northeast winds at 05 to 15 knots may reach 20 knots at times with slight seas.  Cloudy periods with a few showers and isolated thunderstorms. 

Further outlook for Friday: East to Northeast winds at 10 to 20 knots.
