A general Southeast trade wind flow persists over the Solomon Islands.

Forecast for Area North of the Solomon Islands to the Equator

Southeast to Northeast winds at 05 to 15 knots with slight seas. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.

Forecast for Area South of the Solomon Islands to 20 degrees South

Southeast to East winds at 15 to 25 knots with moderate to rough seas and moderate southeast swells. Scattered showers.

Forecast for the Provinces

Southeast to Northeast winds at 05 to 15 knots with slight seas. Fine apart from a few showers and isolated thunderstorms throughout the provinces and islands.

Forecast for Honiara

East to Northeast winds at 05 to 12 knots with smooth seas. Fine apart from isolated showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon.
