Synoptic Situation An active monsoon trough lies to the south of Solomon Islands and links to Tropical Cyclone Jasmine located in the Coral Sea and moving east at 11 knots.
Forecast for the Western Region (Western, Choiseul and Isabel Provinces) West to Northwest winds at 10 to 20 knots, increasing to 25 knots with moderate to rough seas with low to moderate north to northwest swells. Scattered showers and thunderstorms.
Further Outlook for Monday: West to Northwest winds at 15 to 25 knots.
Forecast for the Central Region (Malaita, Guadalcanal and Central Islands Provinces) West to Northwest winds at 15 to 25 knots with moderate to rough seas with low to moderate north to northwest swells. Rain showers and thunderstorms.

Forecast for the Eastern Region (Makira, Temotu and Rennell/Bellona Provinces) West to Northwest winds at 15 to 25 knots, gusting to 30 knots at times with rough to very rough seas and moderate north to northwest swells. Rain showers and squally thunderstorms.
